The Louise McBee lecture is an annual event hosted by the Institute of Higher Education at UGA. This year Dr. Sullivan the president of the University of Virginia spoke. She was dynamic and engaging. In 2010 Dr. Sullivan was unanimously named the 8th president of UVA and in 2012 she stepped down after the board of visitors told her they had the votes to remove her.
