When my mom first moved to Portland, she began getting cards from Jesus. These letters came from all over the country and were a source of encouragement for my mom as she transitioned to a new place. When I was home, I scrapbooked the cards into frames. These frames will be hung by ribbon in her hallway as a reminder.
Would you like to elaborate on this? Please? Thanks :o)
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to elaborate much more. We aren't sure who sent the cards, but figure it may have been a friend of hers from California (she has a few who do quite a bit of traveling). The cards would say things like... I'm with you; I love you; Thinking about you, etc...signed Jesus. I'm not even sure how often they came. But my mom saved them and asked if I would scrapbook them somehow for her...the frames where a neat way for her to remember his faithfulness during a tough transition (leaving family/friends).
ReplyDeletethanks for the great work you did on these! it's been so warm out here, i'm not about to paint! i'm excited about hanging these once the paint is on the walls! love ya, kiddo!
ReplyDeleteyeah, thanks for the elaboration...I was thinking that maybe we had another Joseph Smith on our hands. :-)
