We decided to watch the presentation while eating delicious pizza at mellow mushroom. Only after 40 minutes of them trying to turn the tv subtitles on, we decided to finish eating, pay, and (quickly) drive back to her apartment to not miss the presentation. We arrived at her place about three minutes before they announced the winner (phew, that was a close one!).
We waited.
And then, they announced Robert Griffin III, Baylor University's quarterback as the WINNER!
We screamed and cheered...and then got on facebook to see what others from Baylor (particularly those who were @Baylor) were posting.
After that excitement, we went and drove through downtown listening to music as the lights danced to the beat. We ended up at a light village area that had santa's house, a fire pit, and other fun things for adults and kids alike.
Here are some random pictures, enjoy.
Smores in a bag...yumm!
The fire left something to be desired. Or maybe it was the extra large marshmallows and the tiny flames that made it difficult to 'roast' the marshmallows.
I guess I didn't realize the north pole was in Anderson, SC.
It was a random place, but we had fun!
